Job description

We’ve got a great opportunity for a Junior Front-End Developer in Cape Town to work on a broad range of projects with a small, fun & dynamic team. We are offering an amazing opportunity to gain exposure to a broad spectrum of leading edge technologies coupled with efficient workflows and standards.

Requirements ·

-A deep understanding of website architecture and supporting technologies (such as grid systems, responsive design implementation, LESS/SASS/Compass is critical.)
-Fully capable in Adobe Suite especially After Effects and Photoshop. (Any 3D capability is a plus.)
-Two years’ experience in agency type environment.
-Tertiary qualification OR a very strong portfolio.
-Fluent with: Adobe suite (especially Photoshop), HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, Bootstrap.·
-Knowledge of technologies like GIT, Gulp, ReactJS, Angular·
-Experience with backend technologies like PHP/SQL. Qualifications and Experience

Responsibilities

Content creation and content development for digital signage solutions
-To develop content on all Moving Tactics digital signage platforms
-Technical understanding of all environments content
-Developing content for all digital signage solutions requirements and adhering to deadlines
-Attend all content and technical content meetings
-Developing all Moving Tactics corporate identity
-Liaise with marketing, sales and PR regards CI implementation across all marketing and sales material
-Constantly liaise with digital traffic management regards incoming work, edits, etc.
-Creating of all digital signage solutions presentations and demonstration loops
-To attend various digital traffic and content design meetings

Key performance areas (KPAs)

-Delivering content based on the understood brief and deadlines
-Communicating with the digital traffic manager regards content status
-Been proactive in the development of new content creation techniques/technologies
-Staying up to date with the latest digital signage software and attend relevant training
