After a very successful 2012, Moving Tactics is poised to deliver ever efficient, personalised and engaging digital signage solutions during 2013.
As we saw last year, there is a continuous growth in the adoption of digital signage in South Africa by retailers and brands. Quick Service Restaurants are also seeing the advantages of digital signage to quickly change their menu boards in response to their campaign, menu or price changes. There has also been interest from corporate clients in providing a cost effective solution to communicate to staff members at different branches across the country or globe.
One of the major factors moving forward for digital signage in South Africa during 2013 will be the further adoption and integration of interactivity and social media into digital signage networks, to further engage with the customer and enhance their service offering. This can also be seen in integrating mobile applications into early morning training sessions delivered via digital signage to branches or stores countrywide. Staff will able to ask questions via the mobile phones while watching corporate communication or training videos allowing for a bidirectional communication platform rather than a message just been delivered to them.
At Moving Tactics we will always strive to provide innovative solutions in response of our customers and their clients. Late last year we launched Moving Tactics In-Store Music and will see significant uptake of the medium 2013, alongside additional bolt-on products such as queuing management, Training on Demand (TOD) and interactive kiosks.
In November 2012 we appointed Kevin Bierman as Head of Digital Signage Solutions and he comes with vast knowledge of digital signage spanning back 9 years. He will be spearheading our Digital Signage Solutions Division, which will deliver digital signage solutions customised to our clients’ requirements.
Our Alternative Media Division is enjoying a great year already, with many of our longstanding media clients taking up new media contracts on our networks. The main reason been is that we at Moving Tactics can offer audited uplift in sales figures, which proves how successful our media networks are.
We are also presently rolling out a new Alternative Media network across 99 active wear stores countrywide which will allow for active wear brands to market their products to customers at point of purchase. This network also has the ability to provide the retailer with training on demand (TOD) which is required to equip the staff with the correct sales and technical knowledge to support their customer requirements.
So there is a bright year ahead for Moving Tactics, which will be Our Year of Possibilities.
