As an Installation Technician, you’ll play a pivotal role within our team, ensuring seamless execution of projects and providing essential support to our technical operations. Embrace this exciting opportunity and set the stage for a rewarding career journey in the digital signage landscape!
In order to be eligible for the internship, you need to meet the following criteria:
- 18-34 years old
- Candidate is defined in accordance with the BBBEE definition
- South African citizen
- Unemployed
- Has not completed a Yes4Youth program previously.
Duties & Responsibilities:
Installations:
- Conduct daily meetings, either in advance or on the day, with the relevant installer to discuss the upcoming job and tasks.
- Understand and fulfill the requirements of the installation, providing assistance to the installer as needed.
- Assist with the physical installation process while adhering to health and safety regulations.
Key Performance Indicators:
- Demonstrate comprehensive understanding of the systems being installed and periodically undergo testing on technical knowledge and setup.
- Ensure cleanliness and tidiness of installation sites during and after completion.
- Coordinate stock availability for installers in accordance with Moving Tactics’ stock procedures.
- Provide feedback on potential improvements to installation processes.
Additional Responsibilities:
- Support the Technical Department by preparing equipment and assisting onsite technicians.
- Assist the Stock Controller with stock-taking and recording stock movements.
- Aid the Office Manager in maintaining a neat and tidy office space.
Desired Experience & Qualification:
Minimum Requirements:
- Minimum of a matric qualification is required, preferably with a technical subject (TD, Woodwork, CS etc)
- Experience in installing digital / electronic equipment (AV, PC’s, POS etc)
- Basic computer skills.
Package & Remuneration:
Basic Salary – R6,000.00 per month.
