During the months of July and August 2011 the Unit sales of Bosch glow plugs showed  year on year growth of 47% and 106% respectively. This growth is directly attributable to the increased frequency of the Bosch glow plug adverts during the months concerned.

Further research was conducted with the customers of Midas to measure their perception of the effectiveness of the screens. Some of the results follow below:

The research shows that the screens aid in giving good information and advertising to respondents – this may not have an impact on purchase influence at the time, but may create awareness and drive potential purchases in future.
