Through the specific placement of digital screens, and more recently static elements too, we offer an in store network tailored to its environment with the aim of providing a platform for brands to be visually present alongside their product, encouraging product purchasing by in-store consumers
Digital In Store Network
The in store digital network is found in the top 57 performing Edgars stores. It is made up of Pillar Screens, Single and Dual Key Convergence Screens, Single Cube POS and Three Cube POS banks. With a total of 1269 screens, or 776 touch points, the same 12 minute advertising loop is in sync throughout and guarantees nothing less than 2.2million flighting’s per month when booking a campaign at the industry standard of 2 x 15’ ad frequency.
Moving Tactics launched Edgars Digital Windows in January 2020. They fast became the wow factor to include when booking any big campaign. Measuring at 1.5 x 2.5m in size, we’ve installed 22 Digital Windows in the top 10 flagships stores.
(Canal Walk, Sandton, Fourways, Mall of Africa, Gateway, Westville, Menlyn, Cresta, Clearwater and Eastgate)
Being based in mall set ups, the Digital Windows are a great strategy to engage with shoppers outside of the store environment and serve as a means of encouraging greater footfall in to Edgars. The advertising loop is just 3 minutes long, rotating a maximum of 12, 15’ ads.
With a total of 85 Three Cube POS banks, in the top 46 Edgars stores, the Digital Takeovers rotate every 3 minutes of the day. Exclusive to only 3 Suppliers per month, the concept of the Takeover is to extend content across all 6 screen (or three cubes) to create a highly impactful, magnified image that significantly stands out.
Print & Activation
Covering Static Windows, Sensomatics, Activation Pads, Hotspots, Lift Doors and Escalator advertising. Print and Activation works closely with Edgars brands to create beautiful in store static visuals, and interactive displays. Booked in 2 week segments, these elements are strategically grouped in preferred stores, building a campaign that aligns with international standards and enhances customer engagement.
Expanding our media offering from In – Store Digital, to include In -Store Static has brought about the opportunity to build full holistic campaigns. The two work symbiotically and when combined, have the ability to effectively catapult the "brand" into the path of the consumer.
Front of Shop
Moving Tactics offers instore digital advertising within the top 50 performing Clicks stores nationwide. This is made up of 511 screens strategically positioned throughout the store. Screen locations include Bulkheads, Till points, Convergence points & Entrances, with a 10 – 12 minute advertising loop. This platform affords all instore suppliers an amazing opportunity to voice their current offerings to a captive audience throughout the entire store environment.
Launched in March 2016, Moving Tactics showcases digital screens within 450 Clicks Pharmacies nationwide. The 10 - 12 minute advertising loop guarantees an average 2.5million exposures per month. Based upon the centrally positioned screen, brands are afforded an opportunity to promote their products to a highly captive audience as this network boasts a noticeability of 95% of all customers that stand at this counter.
