In order to be eligible for the internship, you need to meet the following criteria:

- South African citizen
- Unemployed
- Has not completed a Yes4Youth program previously.
Job Overview:
The Technical Admin is responsible for managing the end-to-end process of faulty screen replacements, repairs, and reinstallation. This role ensures that service level agreements (SLAs) are met while maintaining efficient communication and coordination between internal departments, clients, and repair service providers.
Duties & Responsibilities
Call Logging & Communication
- Log repair requests in internal systems (Fresh Service and Magnetic) and track each request.
- Ensure accurate reference numbers are recorded for seamless follow-ups.
- Communicate repair needs and initiate the screen swap-out process within 24 hours.
Warranty Verification & Stock Allocation
- Verify if screens are under warranty and retrieve purchase details from company records.
- Share warranty information with relevant teams and ensure approvals are obtained.
- Coordinate with the stock team to allocate a replacement screen if needed.
Screen Preparation & Installation Coordination
- Work with the technical team to ensure replacement screens are prepared and functional within 24 hours.
- Oversee the loading of required content onto screens before installation.
- Schedule and coordinate installation within SLA timelines:
- 48 hours for locations within a 50km radius.
- 72 hours for remote locations requiring shipping.
- Ensure faulty screens are removed and logged into inventory within 24 hours.
Repair Process Management
- Oversee testing of faulty screens to confirm issues before sending them for repair.
- Document screen condition with photos and update records.
- Send repair requests to service providers and manage the process for both in-warranty and out-of-warranty (OOW) repairs.
- For OOW screens, obtain repair quotes and damage reports, ensuring client approvals within a 14-day SLA.
Collection & Reinstallation of Repaired Screens
- Arrange the collection of repaired screens within 24 hours of repair completion.
- Ensure screens are tested and prepared for reinstallation.
- Work with the content team to reload necessary media before deployment.
- Coordinate the reinstallation process and update asset records accordingly.
Stock & Equipment Management
- Track and manage swap-out screens, ensuring they are returned and properly stocked at regional offices.
- Oversee the testing, factory reset, and storage of replacement screens.
- Maintain clear documentation of all screen transactions, including photos and logs.
Additional Duties
- Monitor and update the reporting dashboard to track service requests.
- Communicate with stores and service teams to ensure smooth operations.
- Order equipment and replacement parts as needed for maintenance.

Package & Remuneration
Basic Salary – R6,000.00 per month.
