At Moving Tactics, our commitment to people goes far beyond digital screens. A core value of our business is empowering others through self-development, particularly women and children through education. Our journey into community upliftment truly took shape through our partnership with Learn2Live, a remarkable non-profit dedicated to early childhood development and sustainable living in vulnerable communities that include the Kraaifontein and Eersteriver areas of the Western Cape.
What started as a simple desire to give back soon evolved into a deep, long-term partnership. Learn2Live is led by the inspiring Arina Kitching, whose vision focuses on the crucial first 1,000 days of a child’s life. Beyond education and nutrition, Arina is a powerhouse for women’s empowerment, running community-centred projects and programmes that equip and uplift women in their local communities. These initiatives include ECD centre support, parenting education, libraries, and projects promoting sustainable living, all designed to give women the tools they need to thrive, break the cycle of poverty, and create stronger, healthier communities – building better futures for themselves and their families.
When Learn2Live first met Nolitha Siziba, she was working as an early childhood development (ECD) teacher, deeply committed to caring for young children despite significant personal and financial challenges. At the time, Nolitha was living in informal housing, navigating daily uncertainty while striving to build a better future for herself and her family.
Through B-BBEE funding received by Learn2Live, Nolitha gained access to ongoing professional and self-development training through the organisation’s programme aimed at upskilling principals and teachers. This included training in self-development, educational curricula, and leadership and management to improve business skills, as well as structured support and financial relief. These opportunities allowed her not only to grow in her role, but to envision a different life trajectory. With stability came confidence, and with confidence came opportunity.
Over time, Nolitha advanced professionally and received a promotion at her workplace – a milestone that reflected both her dedication and her growing leadership capacity. The impact extended far beyond her career. In January 2026, Nolitha moved into her own home, a powerful moment marking a complete shift in her socio-economic circumstances. From living in informal housing to having a safe, secure house of her own, her journey is a testament to what sustained, intentional support can achieve.
Nolitha’s success story speaks to our commitment as a company, to offer more than just financial support. As a technology company, we have been able to leverage our expertise by providing essential technology such as screens, tablets, and digital tools to Learn2Live’s centers. By introducing technology into these spaces, we aren’t just giving hardware; we are providing the means to teach and empower women and children, helping them become digitally literate and confident in a modern world.
Our relationship with Arina and her team is hands-on. While we provide annual donations, we believe that true partnership means showing up, which we do through the year. While visiting their projects, we’re able to see the impact firsthand, which helps us understand where the Moving Tactics team can best contribute our skills and resources next. This partnership has become an important part of our company culture.
Inspired by it, we officially registered the Moving Tactics Foundation NPC in 2021. This has allowed us to continue supporting Learn2Live and other initiatives in a meaningful, sustainable way. We are proud to stand behind Arina as she empowers the next generation of women to not just survive, but truly thrive through education and technology.
Nolitha’s story is one of many that demonstrate how the funding, technology, and support Learn2Live receives creates real, measurable, and lasting change. It not only improves professional outcomes but also transforms lives, restores dignity, and lays foundations that will benefit generations to come. Moving Tactics is proud to play a role in this journey, supporting programmes that empower women and children, introduce technology, and strengthen communities.
